It was such a honnor to attend the 2nd Value Chain day for agribusinesses held on Friday, September 28, 2018 at the Paynesville town hall.
The event was sponsored by USAID Feed the Future, CNFA/LADA-Liberia Agribusiness Development Activity through the Agribusiness Investment Network.
Several Liberian agripreneurs graced the occasion and showed their products.
It’s was an exciting and fresh experience.
I spoke to few of the farmers and agripreneurs at the fair and heard so many interesting things.

Whenever we purchase commodities made by local Liberian Entrepreneurs, we invest in Liberia. On every dollar that is spent locally, about thirty percent goes back to the communities. We empower women, families and communities when we buy local. And buying made in Liberia rice contributes to the economy and takes away power from the imported rice monopoly. Buy local and empower your community.
Let’s continue to look for the made in Liberia sign when we purchase in the supermarkets and stores.
